PERFORMANCE MODELS

Working closely with our experts at Peugeot Sport, Peugeot has produced a range of models and high-intensity concepts which blend together top performance and fine design to provide a sensory delight for anyone who loves sporty, dynamic driving.

GT

The term GT, which means "Grand Touring" (from the Italian 'Gran Turismo') signifying dynamic and exclusive versions within the Peugeot range.

The three main features of the GT range are: a powerful and efficient engine, superb road-holding with a lowered ride and the presence of a Driver Sports Pack, giving a sporty interior and exterior.  It all adds up to the ultimate in enhanced driving pleasure.

GTi

"GTi" is a variation of "GT" which means "Grand Touring Injection". It features vehicles combining sporty design and high performance.

At Peugeot, this term has been represented through our recent history through a legendary model: the 205 GTi - which celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2014.

Over 30 years after its inception, the Peugeot GTi today reinterprets the legend in an even more radical version. With its sharper handling and nimble driving, the 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport again demonstrates that the driving experience, sportiness and efficiency are truly embedded into the genes of the Lion brand. And check out the bigger and bolder 308 GTi by Peugeot Sport too.

R

R is the symbol first associated with the most powerful car in the history of the brand: the RCZ R, with its 270hp engine. Its design was styled around the sportiness of the vehicle, displaying many Peugeot Sport badges, and was an efficient and stylish drive until production ended in late 2015.

The R is also present in the New 308 R HYbrid Concept, a sporty concept car promising an unparallelled driving experience.
