Peugeot Announces Launch Prices and Equipment for
The award-winning Peugeot RCZ is now on sale in Ireland. Voted Most Beautiful Car of the Year at the 25th International Automobile Festival by over 100,000 internet voters and awarded a red dot: best of the best 2010 award for outstanding design quality in the Automotive category earlier this year, the RCZ was then presented with the Fleet World Design of the Year gong in May. The much-sought-after sports coupe will retail in Ireland from €36,495, plus dealer delivery related charges.

Peugeot Achieves Best Half-Year Sales Worldwide i
Peugeot's worldwide sales increased by 16.7% in the first half of 2010 to reach 1,093,000 units, ahead of the global market growth of 13%. The manufacturer gained two market places in Europe, from 6th to 4th place in the rank of vehicle manufacturers. Outside Europe, Peugeot continued its success with a sales growth of 42% (459,000 compared to 389,000 for the 1st half-year 2009). The increase in sales is the best half-year performance ever recorded in Peugeot's 200-year history.

Peugeot Unveils new 508 Range
Peugeot has unwrapped the first official photographs of its new 508 saloon and SW models, ahead of their international unveiling at this October's Paris Motor Show. The Peugeot 508 range combines strong design and good looks with award winning engines, class-leading driveability, high levels of quality and safety to offer a large, comfortable family saloon. The 508 will go on sale in Europe at the beginning of 2011 and in Ireland by spring 2011.

Peugeot Unveils New e-HDi Technology
Peugeot has presented its e-HDi technology, a new generation diesel stop & start system. The new e-HDi Stop & start technology turns off a car’s engine when stationary, which in turn delivers improvements in fuel efficiency and CO2 emissions of up to 15%. To be deployed across the Peugeot range from late 2010, the PSA Group aims to sell one million vehicles equipped with e-HDi by 2013.

An Historic One-Two Finish for Peugeot 908
An Historic One-Two Finish for Peugeot 908 at Sebring Team Peugeot Total made history with an astonishing one-two finish at Sebring last weekend. The 908 HDi FAP is the first French car to win since the Sebring race was first held in 1952. Peugeot have now set their sights firmly on a second consecutive win at the infamous 24-Hours of Le Mans race in June and the Sebring race proved an invaluable practice run.

Peugeot Announces Scrappage Scheme
Peugeot in Ireland has announced details of the Peugeot Scrappage Scheme offering up to €5,000 off its range of low CO2-emitting models. Customers can now avail of €5,000 off a new Peugeot 407 Executive model, €3,000 off new Peugeot 207 and 308 models and €1,500 off the newly launched Peugeot 3008, winner of the Continental Irish Car of the Year 2010 award. The Peugeot Scrappage Scheme will run to the 31st January 2010.

Windsor Airside Appointed Main Peugeot Dealers
Peugeot in Ireland have announced the appointment of Windsor Airside, Airside Motor Park, Swords, Co. Dublin to the Peugeot Dealer Network in Ireland. Peugeot Clean Up
Peugeot’s 1.6 litre petrol engine has taken top honours for the third consecutive year in the 1.4-litre to 1.8-litre category at the 2009 International Engine of the Year Awards, ahead of the Toyota Prius powertrain. The 1.0 litre petrol engine, fitted to the Peugeot 107, also won its category, 100 points ahead of the second placed Smart diesel engine.
