The 1.6 L VTi 120 hp BVM5, 1.6 L THP 155 hp BVM6, 1.6 L THP 155 hp BVA6, 1.6 L Hdi 115 hp FAP BVM6, 1.6 L e-HDi 115 hp FAP BMP6, 2.0 L HDi 150 hp FAP BVM6 and the 2.0 L HDi 160 hp FAP BVA6 engines have been specially treated by software respecting the Euro 5 emissions standard.

CO2 EMISSIONS

In a combined cycle, the 5008 1.6 l eHDi FAP 115 hp BMP6 consumes only 4.2 l/100 km, with only 109 g/km of CO2i.

e-HDi MICRO-HYbrid TECHNOLOGY

Protecting the future of our planet is one of the key challenges we must tackle and Peugeot is making great strides in this area thanks to the e-HDi micro-hybrid technology: a new generation STOP & STARTi system. It automatically puts the engine on standby every time the vehicle is stationary, such as at a red light or a stop sign. A new aspect of this system is that the re-start is particularly smooth. The e-HDi is therefore more fuel efficienti and emits less CO2i. This intelligent technology is combined with a 6-point manual gearbox.

GEAR CHANGE INDICATOR

This technologyi indicates to the driver the optimum moment for changing to a higher gear, in order to optimise fuel consumption in vehicles with manual gearboxes.

PARTICLE FILTER

The HDi technology is combined with a very efficient emissions control system, the Particle Filter (PF). Self-cleaning, it treats the gases resulting from the combustion of diesel fuel in the engine. This equipment reduces particle emissions from diesel engines to the limit of what is measurable (0.004 g/km), thus making the engine more respectful of the environment.
