SAFETY
Passengers protection is ensured by bends reinforcing the body structure and nearby protection such as airbags/seat belt pairings.
ABS
The 207 is fitted with ABS, which prevents the wheels from locking, electronic braking distribution (EBD), emergency brake assist (EBA) and automatic illumination of the hazard warning lights in the event of rapid deceleration.
ESP, ASR
The latest generation of ESP (electronic stability program) system is also available on the 207*. This includes anti-slip regulation (ASR (Anti-skid regulation), which acts on the engine system and brakes, as well as dynamic stability control (DSC). * Depending on trim levels
Airbags
The 207 is equipped with 2 adaptive, dual-generator front airbags, 2 side airbags, 2 curtain airbags* fitted along the arch of the roof which “work” in conjunction with the side airbags. * Curtain airbags from Level 2
Static directional lighting
The 207 is fitted with static directional lighting, depending on trim level. This function enables the driver to see a pedestrian preparing to cross the road in towns or, on smaller roads, a cyclist on the verge.
