The Ultimate Test of Skill for Dublin GAA Stars

Dublin GAA stars Cormac Costello, Lauren Magee, Aoife Whelan and Donal Burke face off in the ultimate test of skill - the Peugeot Challenge.

Watch as these top athletes go head-to-head in a series of challenges both on the pitch and behind the wheel of the Peugeot 308.

Who will come out on top and be crowned champion?

Challenge 1 - 308 Obstacle Course

The Dublin GAA stars are putting their skills to the test in the first Peugeot 308 obstacle course challenge. Cormac Costello takes the lead with a quick run but a cone knock over adds a 1-sec penalty to his time, finishing at 53 seconds.

Lauren Magee navigates obstacles with precision but struggles with parallel parking and finishes at 1 min 40 sec with no penalty. Aoife Whelan finishes strong but a mistake in when she hit a cone adding a 1-sec penalty to her time, bringing her total to 1 min 10 sec. Donal Burke speeds through the course but struggles with parallel parking and finishes at 1 min 21 sec.

Challenge 2 - 308 Skills

The stakes are high as the Dublin GAA stars take on the Peugeot 308 skills challenge. In this round, Hurling and camogie players will attempt to hit the crossbar with a football, while footballers will use hurling sticks to take their shots. Each successful hit will take off 5 seconds from their obstacle course time. The pressure is on as they each have only 3 attempts to make their mark.

Lauren steps up to the plate first, but despite her best efforts, she is unable to hit the crossbar in her 3 attempts. Cormac also struggles, coming close but ultimately unable to hit the target. Aoife also has close calls, but the results are the same for all of them. In a surprise turn of events, Donal manages to hit the crossbar once, bringing cheers from the crowd and shaving 5 seconds off his obstacle course time.

AND THE WINNER IS....

As the challenge comes to a close, the results are tallied. Cormac Costello comes out on top with a lightning-fast 53 seconds, closely followed by Aoife in second place with a time of 1 minute and 10 seconds.

Donal's successful hit doesn't quite give him the edge he needs, finishing with a time of 1 minute and 16 seconds. Unfortunately, Lauren finishes last with a time of 1 minute and 40 seconds.

The competition was fierce, but in the end, it was Cormac who emerged victorious in the Peugeot Challenge.
