REVERSE PARKING CAMERA
The reverse parking camerai is activated automatically when the car shifts into reverse.
It allows the driver to visualise manoeuvres on the big touchscreen, making parking safer and easier.
With its high-tech safety features, the 508 RHX BlueHDi combines outstanding performance with top-quality handling.

The front and rear parking aidi uses audio and visual graphics to keep the driver aware of the distance between the car and any other object. This makes the relevant manoeuvres simpler and easier.
Thanks to four sensors located on the front and rear bumpers, the blind spot check systemi provides a timely warning if another vehicle enters the blind spot while the car is in motion, triggering an orange LED on the nearest wing mirror to alert the driver.
When dipped-beam or main-beam headlamps are in use, the additional illumination functioni, available only with full LED headlampsi, allows them to light up the inside of any oncoming curve with LEDi. This function is only available when the vehicle is travelling at less than 120 km/h.
The electric parking brake (EPB) combines two functions: it automatically engages whenever the engine stops (this includes stalling), and automatically releases when the car accelerates. Manual operation is permanently available via the shift paddles.
The Hill Assist function, when used in conjunction with the electric parking brake, keeps the brake on briefly (2 seconds) when the vehicle is on a slope (>3%), in inverse proportion to the speed selected.
Thanks to the ESP trajectory control systemi, the Peugeot 508 RXH BlueHDi combines superb road handling with a high level of active safety. The system groups together a number of functions: Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Anti-Skid Regulation (ASR), Electronic Brake-Force Variation (EBV and CBC), Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA), Motor Stall Regulation (MSR) and Intelligent Traction Control, a function enabling the driver to optimise the vehicle's progress in conditions that make road grip precarious.
